The musical Le Petit Prince: Wuhan Global Premiere

From November 15 to November 16, the musical drama "Le Petit Prince" jointly produced by Yanghua Drama and the French National People's Theatre, and presented by Hubei Theatre, will have its global premiere at Hubei Theatre. This beloved childhood classic, "Le Petit Prince" will be presented on stage in a brand-new artistic form.

As a follow-up to the collaboration with the French team on Les Misérables, this Le Petit Prince by Yang Hua Drama has been destined for extraordinary creation from its inception. Under the direction of Jean Bellorini, a highly influential French theater director, the production merges the original work’s deep ties to Lyon, France, with the emotional resonance of Chinese readers. Bellorini poses the reflective question, "Are we not all someone else’s Little Prince?"—a thought that elevates cross-generational and cross-cultural dialogue to the heart of the stage.

This Yanghua version of the musical drama Le Petit Prince brings together leading theater teams from China and France, breaking the boundaries of traditional theater by creatively and deeply integrating music with dramatic storytelling.
